Lean Six Sigma

It is a discipline that focuses on process speed and efficiency. In a nutshell, it helps a company meet its goals and customer needs – high quality and fast delivery at minimal cost.
Interaction with ISO-9000
In the context of ISO-9000, Six Sigma focuses more on quality and problem-solving, while ISO-9000 focuses on basic process definition. “Lean” focuses on time and flow, and “Six Sigma” focuses on designing new processes or products. When Six Sigma works in concert with these other methods, the benefits can be exponential.
