Security Recruiting

Security Services has its own team of recruiters who handle hiring for this specialized staff, which provides combat support services for the U.S. Army. Job candidates should download an application form and send it and a resume in a Word .doc or .txt format to one of the recruiters listed below in the “Contact Us” area. Resumes should include an e-mail address and dates (month/year) of all military, police, security, FPO, Corrections, time and experience.

Our primary roles in Security Services are:
• Force protection operations
• Security and patrol operations
• Residential security operations
• Emergency and contingency response
• Entry control and checkpoint operations

The majority of positions in Security Services are Force Protection Officers (FPOs). These officers perform security duties at various Area Support Group-Kuwait (ASG-KU) installations in Kuwait. FPO duties include:
• conducting complete interior and exterior searches of all vehicles entering military installations;
• conducting access control at military installation gates to prevent unauthorized entries;
• single occupant vehicle patrol;
• static surveillance from HMMWV vehicles or towers to observe entry procedures at installation entry points.

FPOs must be qualified in the use of the M9 (Beretta), M16, and M249 (SAW) and be able to operate tactical and non-tactical vehicles. Because of Kuwait's climate conditions (summer temperatures are 130 degrees Fahrenheit and above, with winter temperatures at 40 degrees Fahrenheit and below), applicants must be in excellent physical condition without limitations or defects that could hinder their duty performance.
